"Creative without strategy is called 'art',

Creative with strategy is called 'advertising' ".

 

 

 

This is a little game that involves selling stuff that no one would otherwise buy. Adzap is set to bring out the creativity, time management, marketing skills of the innovative minds and to shape their team spirit and co-ordination. Try to stick to a paragraph or less.

 

       RULES:

  • Each team comprises of a maximum of five members minimum of two members.

  • Topics will be given on the spot.

  • The event will be conducted in TWO rounds.

      ROUND ONE:

  1. The team that takes minimal time for expressing their product to the audience will be given 1 point extra for every minute.

  2. Time duration: 1 minute per team on stage + 5 minutes for preparation.

  3. A successful add gets 5 marks and the team is thus qualified to round two.

       ROUND TWO:

  1. Time duration: 30 seconds per team on stage + 5 minutes for preparation, followed by a questionnaire round.

  2. More weightage will be given to humour, creativity and marketing skills.

  • Participants in finals are allowed to choose one topics of their own choice from the given two topics.

  • The performance is judged based on the clarity in thought, innovativeness, humour, team co-ordination and expression.

  • The ad should show its target segment and positioning in the market. Teams will be judged on the marketing concepts and the strategy used in the ad.

  • The teams would be provided with the necessary properties to do their advertisement.

  • Conversations should be in English.
